Rachel Zadok |
| Rachel Zadok grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa where she studied Fine Art and worked as a freelance graphic designer. In 2004, she entered the first ever televised ‘How to Get Published’ competition on Channel 4’s Richard and Judy show and was selected as one of five shortlisted authors from 46,000 entries. Although she didn’t win, the standard of Rachel’s novel was so high that Pan Macmillan offered her a publishing contract anyway, along with a £20,000 advance. Rachel now lives in London where she works as a waitress, while pursuing a career as a writer. |
