Roy Hattersley is now Visiting Professor of Politics at the University of Sheffield, an advisor to the OECD, and a Fellow of The Royal Society of Literature. One of the most prolific writers in Britain, he has a weekly column in The Guardian and contributes to numerous newspapers and magazines, as well as appearing regularly on radio and television. He is the author of sixteen books, including The Edwardians, a biography of Edwardian Britain, which will be published in October 2004.
