Jenny Agutter: Actress

Aged 14, Jenny was asked by Lionel Jeffries to play the role of Roberta in the film version of The Railway Children, a role for which she is possibly best known.  As well as a successful film career (credits include American Werewolf in London and Equus for which she won a British Academy Award), Jenny maintained a stage career, acting at the National Theatre, with the RSC and on Broadway.  Jenny has recorded a number of books on tape including Music and Silence and Bad Blood, both Whitbread Award-winning books.
