Lavinia Greenlaw is a poet and novelist. Her third collection, Minsk, was published in 2003 and her first novel, Mary George of Allnorthover, won France''s Prix du Premier Roman. She lectures at Goldsmiths College, London and has made a number of radio programmes, including documentaries about the Arctic and the Baltic.
