Are you an avid reader?  Do have strong views on what makes a great book?  Are you aged between 10 and 14?  If so, then you might be just the kind of person we’re looking for!

Whitbread is searching for two budding judges to join the celebrity panel that will select this year’s Whitbread Children’s Book Award winner and is running a competition with CBBC Newsround to find them. 

In addition to the tough task of selecting the best children’s book published in the last 12 months, the two lucky winners will also be invited to the glittering 2004 Whitbread Book of the Year awards ceremony.

All you need to do is write a 200-word review of a book you have recently enjoyed and enter it via Newsround’s Press Pack page on its website: www.bbc.co.uk/newsround.  The deadline for entries is midday on Friday, August 20.  So get writing – we’re waiting to hear from you!
